The Project

Welcome to our project featuring our “Dark Elf Ylenia Bloodthorn” and “Cheyenne Half-Elf Mage”  75mm scale miniatures, available in either cast resin physical versions or digital 3D printable format.

Yes, as we have been repeatedly asked to make our miniatures available in cast resin, we’ve finally decided to expand into the physical products line as well.

Because of our extensive experience casting props for the film and Television industries, as well as producing our own cast resin collectable miniatures in the past, we will be casting all the miniatures in-house.  This will ensure maximum control over the quality of the miniatures, as we are dedicated to providing you with the best canvases for you to enjoy.

This campaign will help us purchase the equipment, tools, and materials required to produce high quality cast resin models. We will be using only Smooth-on resins and silicones for our productions as we are very familiar with their products having used them for almost 20 years.

We will be vacuum degassing our silicone molds and pressure casting the resin to ensure a 100% bubble free high quality production miniature. Smooth-On resins are also odor free and capable of reproducing even the smallest detail to the highest fidelity.

Risks and challenges To minimize the risk and have full control over the quality of production and times, all the cast resin will be done in-house. This will reduce risks to almost nil. The only thing we will not have full control over of course is shipping, however we are prepared thanks to our past experience, and lost or broken items shall be replaced as we are in full control of the production. The digital rewards all consist of downloadable files, the only risks would be… if the internet explodes, if we are abducted by aliens, if hell freezes over, or other earth destroying calamities were to occur. Environmentally speaking, we are in a very good place as, by casting ourselves, we will not need to mass produce, but will only be producing what we need to fulfill the rewards. The digital reward items themselves will not pose a threat to the environment as they are not physical items, and the backers will only print what they will use, thus reducing waste to the minimum.

How do you care protecting the environment?
We make sure we choose the materials we use very carefully, make wise decisions about the energy we use, and keep our waste to a minimum. We work with Recyclia, a recycling company that collects our used printing toners and ensures they are properly recycled. They take them to be processed, break them down into raw materials and make them into new products.

When the campaign is over, you will receive an invite to provide your shipping address. At this time, you will also be able to purchase additional add-ons such as our previous flip books and other items to be revealed. We will be working with BackerKit as a pledge manager.
