Introduction
I’m a disabled writer/director/producer starting my own production company, Nighttime Media. This will be the company’s first project, introducing the brand to the world as a creator of moody, period-inspired films.

The Story
Abigail, a midwife in a small village, is accused of witchcraft after a woman, Jane, dies shortly after childbirth. While the men are absolutely certain Abigail is the reason behind Jane’s passing, Jane’s sister, Constance, feels solidarity with the accused woman. Both of them must convince the Judge, who also serves as the minister, that she’s innocent. But will he spare Abigail the pyre?
Characters
Abigail- the midwife
Jane- the mother who dies
Constance- Jane’s sister
Joseph- Jane’s husband

Location
The historic city of Savannah, GA provides many old buildings to use. As of right now, I’m waiting to hear back about Oatland Island Wildlife Center’s cabins. I’ll update this section as I get a better idea of the budget and filming permissions.

Schedule
I’m aiming to cast in December, film in January, and do post-production in February. But, as timing can be, that might be pushed back a month or two, depending on how things work out.
Budget
A portion of the budget will be spent on permit fees and insurance. Boring, I know, but necessary if I want to register my film with the state of Georgia. I also have to have some funds set aside for props and costumes. The majority will be spent on the cast and crew, making sure they’re fed on set and receive at least minimum wage for their hard work. Anything that’s left over will be used to enter the film festival circuit, which is my ultimate goal for this film.

Risks and challenges
The timeline may be pushed back, depending on how things work out, but I will work to get a good quality film done as soon as possible. In addition, there’s potential that the film doesn’t do well at festivals, that’s a risk that every filmmaker has to make.
